Katie has a background in fashion and design with Nordstrom which she has incorporated into hair career. She is a native and grew up in McKinney, TX just down the road. She keeps up with the latest trends and continues to take classes for education to keep her skills up to date. She has been doing hair for 3 years, and has been passionate about hair her entire life and loves to make her clients feel the absolute best. She is a perfectionist and takes her time with each client to provide the best experience. Katie is very honest and will let you know which hairstyles and color will work best for you. She specializes in blondes and balayage with her very detailed work. Katie also does hand-tied extensions and uses bombshell and Bellami hair to create longer and fuller hair that is customized to fit you. I have been a stylist for 42 years and a Redken Master stylist for 22 years. I am also an artist in oil paintings. Painting is a huge stress reliever and my clients and I both enjoy them together.

All of my life, I have always remembered having a creative edge. I knew that I wanted to explore career options that allowed my imagination to shine. After graduating from hair school in 1999, I was fortunate enough to be able to further my education with advanced training from Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica. I love to put my developed skill set to work, always keeping the integrity of your hair in mind.  

When it comes to cutting, I enjoy cutting classic shapes in short to mid-length hair that incorporate texture, movement, ease of styling and longevity. I also crave working with color of all kinds, whether it’s soft, lived-in tones or you are looking for something edgier with a dramatic change. I listen to your wants and needs and pride myself in making your hair its most fabulous! 

I truly believe in building genuine relationships with my clients. I love being able to give them confidence by bringing out their true beauty from within. I have been fortunate enough to meet some incredible people who are first my customer and then quickly become my friend. We chat, laugh, cry, and many times even pray for each other. I sincerely feel that many would say that as they continue to return, their hair appointment quickly turns into catch up time with a friend. 

Away from the salon, I have a husband and twin boys who keep me super busy. A few years ago my family made our exciting move to Texas. That’s right, I’m a Tennessee turned Texas gal! Although I do miss my friends and family back home, I have loved every bit of embracing this new adventure. We are loving everything our new state has to offer so far and I am thrilled to be able to continue my hair journey here in Texas. I am incredibly thankful for all of the connections that I have made and I hope to meet you real soon.

While most stylists offer a great first visit and solid maintenance there after, I see my role as a stylist a bit differently. I will keep each service as unique as you are. Providing the changes you need to match the personal growth or new phase of life you are in. Whether that is a new color to feel confident in a job interview or fresh extensions for your big vacation!

When I am not in the salon, I am often tanning on a beach somewhere reading a good book with a fresh Diet Dr. Pepper. Broadway musicals are the way to my heart and my favorite kind of weekend activity!

Hi, my name is Jacinda Larra, and I have been a stylist for over 15 years. It is my lifelong dream of being a Hairstylist. When I was a kid I first “practiced” my skills on mine and my sister’s dolls, I then graduated to my younger sister and brothers. I knew when I graduated high school I was going to go to hair school and follow my dream.

I am very passionate about hair. I am focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction – I will do everything I can to meet your expectations. I take pride in my work and I want my clients to be proud of my work also. If you see a new hairstyle or color in a magazine or on Pinterest I want to be able to give you that look, so I keep up with education and training.

In the past few years I have been researching hair extensions so I could provide the best to my clients. I had a few bad experiences then I found the absolute best hair extensions. So I traveled to Beverly Hills and got certified with DreamCatchers hair extensions. I have worn them myself for the past four years, and I love transforming my clients look without damaging their hair.

I started my career in 1989. I was a senior in high school and was working at a salon in Allen, TX before I even graduated. I worked at this salon until I opened Hair Masters in McKinney in 1995.

In 2005, the decision was made to move my salon near to home and our kids that were going to school in Prosper. I’ve been here ever since and consider that decision one of the best I have ever made.

I have been extremely fortunate to have been blessed with a terrific clientele that seems like family! I enjoy the bonus of getting to know my clients and developing a relationship with them.

Val Watson is an experienced independent hairstylist located at City Salon Prosper. She has 18 years of experience in the hair industry and 13 years as an independent stylist. Val has extensive training and was formerly a Master Colorist at Aveda Salon. She specializes in Hair Color, Balayage, “Livid in Color”, Corrective Color, and Brazilian Blowouts. Val’s clientele includes women, men, and children and she also caters to special events like weddings, proms, and photoshoots. Val focuses on enhancing clients’ inner and outer beauty every time they visit.

Hello! My name is Savannah! I’m originally from Georgia but have lived in Texas for the past 8 years and most recently moved from Utah after living there for about 10 months. My husband, who is from North Dallas, and I just moved back here because we love it so much!
