Founder of Balayage Dallas and Form Salon, Leighanne Shelton has been named by the beauty industries best as the “go to expert” for Balayage hair color. Its with no suprise that Leighanne, who hails from New York City’s landmark John Frieda Salon, has turned many traditional foil highlight clients on to the more natural looking Balayage highlight technique.
During her time working in New York Leighanne trained with the renouned Nancy Braun at Loreal’s Professional Institute and with Renee Patronik, named by the New York Times as the best colorist for brunettes.
She now has found herself becoming the go to for brunette clients in a sea of Dallas blondes. She does however have a steady following of blondes which range from bright blonde foil highlights to a more lived in honey blonde. Wherever you fall on the color spectrum Leighanne has got you covered.
I graduated from Aveda in 2016 and have been cutting hair since. I’ve been in the industry for 8 years now. I’m certified in Keratins and Brazilians, have taken a curly cut class with Form Salon. I’ve also done continuing education classes on different types of blowdries and Brazillian Blowouts/Kerations. I love “lived in” hair, beach waves, and cute braids.

Hi I’m Katie! Born and raised in Dallas with an artistic upbringing- I began my education at Paul Mitchell the School Dallas; gaining more knowledge working through the salon industry with rigorous training, hard work and effort. Education is key and knowledge is half the battle! My whole purpose is to embrace your true colors and keep your hair feeling healthy! I have been a licensed hairdresser for over 10 years- and have spent the last 5 specializing in hair color. Knowing what works best for you- and encouraging natural styles (such as curly hair) to become more manageable! I proudly use Wella haircolor and Davines haircare styling products.
